NTPC-PMI is conducting a programme on OFFSHORE WIND ENERGY: ASSESSMENT, ENGINEERING AND ECONOMICS in collaboration with IIT Bombay from 30th March to 12th May 2023 in an online mode.

Shri Mohit Bhargava, Executive Director (RE), NTPC & CEO (NREL/NGEL) speaking at the inaugural session of the above program shared the renewable portfolio of the company and the capacity expansion plans ahead. He mentioned that several new programmes have been conducted as part of capacity building initiatives and developing preparedness for NTPC for the challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Earlier Ms Rachana Singh Bhal, GM (PMI) welcomed the dignitaries from NTPC and IIT Bombay for the inaugural session.

The program includes 28 sessions covering various aspects of Offshore wind energy assessment, engineering and economics. This is a unique program in terms of its design and course content. It is being attended by 31 participants from NREL/NGEL and IBD departments in NTPC.
